SuperHomer's Home for Admiral Program & Database Updates

A letter from SuperHomer:

When I took over the maintenance and updating of "The Admiral" almost two and a half years ago, I was a single man with plenty of free time. Well, over that time, my life has become more complicated - in only the best of ways. I am now engaged to a wonderful woman and will soon be a step-father to an adorable little girl. In addition to planning a wedding, my fiancée and I are also in the process of building a new home. As I'm sure you can figure, I have a lot less free time now compared to when I was single and living alone in my tiny apartment. Since I now have to prioritize the use of my free time, I need give up some of my hobbies. This, combined with the apparent permanent death of "Pirates of the Spanish Main", has led me to the decision to cease updating "The Admiral".

The good news is that since WizKids will not make any more expansions, "The Admiral" is complete and will remain that way. I originally started the changes and updates for my own use. I wanted to have an accurate listing and fleet building database to use for myself. But my work grew into a much larger project than I expected. I must give a lot of credit to Glirette from the WizKids forums for assisting me with most of the data gathering for the sets from "Frozen North" up through "Cursed Seas". Of course, most of the credit must go to Coljac for writing the original version of the Admiral and making the source code available to me for editing. And, of course, a thank you to everyone who reported errors in the database so that we could have the most accurate database of the game possible.

I will make sure that the files I host are available on my site at least through this summer. However, if I had to guess, the forums and the host site will probably be gone around September (maybe sooner). I have already disabled posting to the forums as it is just collecting spam and porn. I might post the source files on the download site before it goes away, but I have not yet decided.

I hope everyone who downloaded and used "The Admiral" found it helpful. Happy sailing to all!
-Homer

These files are for you.   Unfortunately, due to complications, you will still need to use any applicable updates above after adding these updates.

Admiral 1.2 Database Update - 211 cards - This import file contains all cards missing from the database included in version 1.2
This does not have any cards from Davy Jones Curse or Frozen North

Davy Jones Import File Update - 31 cards - This file contains the cards missing from the import file for DJC provided by Coljac.
If you imported DJC from Coljac's import file, this update will complete the set.

Davy Jones Complete Import - 171 cards - If you downloaded version 1.2 and did NOT import any cards from DJC,
use this file to import the complete DJC set.

Frozen North Complete Import - 152 cards - If you have not yet found the cards from Frozen North by themselves,
use this file to import the complete FN set.

Frozen North Update - 21 cards - This file contains the cards most likely missing from other import files for FN.
You do not need this update if you imported FN using the import file above.
If you use this file, edit with notepad prior to importing to remove any ships you may already have.

Note: The current 'Complete' database has a total card count of 1731 cards.
